MLB orders Opening Day 2006 stencils

Major League Baseball has ordered an Opening Day 2006 stencil for each of their 30 teams, along with World Class premium field marking paint. The regular season begins Sunday, April 2.


 

Invesco named Pro Field of the Year

Congratulations to Ross Kurcab and his staff at Invesco Field in Denver, for being named the 2005 Pro Football & Soccer Field of the Year by the Sports Turf Managers Association recently.

Also recognized for football field of the year were Michigan State University and Amy Fouty in the college and university category; Bryan High School in Bryan, Texas in the high school and parks category.

Recognized for the 2005 baseball fields of the year were Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Florida in the professional category; Charlie Smith Field at Tony Gwynn Stadium, San Diego, California, in the college category; and Hillcrest Booster Field in Fountain Inn, South Carolina in the high school and parks category.

The soccer fields of the year were Invesco Field in Denver, professional category; Olivet Nazarene University, Borubonnais, Illinois, college and university category; Sportscore II Soccer Complex, Rockford, Illinois, high school and parks category.

The 2005 softball fields of the year are ASA Don E. Porter Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, college and university category; Bryan High School, Bryan, Texas, high school and parks category.

The 2005 complexes of the year are Surprise Recreation Campus, Surprise, Arizona, professional category; Lebanon Valley College, Annville, Pennsylvania, college and university category; North Scott Community School District, Eldridge, Iowa, high school and parks category.

Congratulations to these world class facilities!

Super Bowl XL is Number VI for World Class
