Turf Tips
TIP #1
It’s always a good idea to keep a case of green aerosol or 5 gallons of green bulk paint in the shop in case of emergencies such as painting mistakes, field vandalism or spots of turf discoloration.
TIP #2
Aerosol is more durable in damp conditions. It is a good idea to keep a few cases in stock in case of rainy weather.
TIP #3
Store aerosol cases upside down to keep paint and propellants in solution. Shaking aerosol thoroughly will result in higher a higher quality paint appearance and will provide a great yield per can.
TIP #4
When painting logos, paint a white base first, and allow to dry. Then paint colors on top for the brightest and sharpest colors.
TIP #5
When dotting stencils, we recommend using aerosol. The paint will dry faster, and will minimize the mess on the stencil.
TIP #6
It is a good idea to have extra spray tips, strainers, and a spare pump on the shelf.
TIP #7
Never clear a clogged spray tip with any pointed or sharp objects. Doing so will permanently damage spray quality. Instead soak tips in warm water, and use a firm bristle brush.
TIP #8
When painting aerosol lines for baseball on clay, lightly dampen the clay and apply directly to firm surface.
TIP #9
Spray World Class White Aerosol on bases and pitching rubber to brighten and give a brand new appearance at game time.
TIP #10
When removing gum from synthetic turf fields, spray World Class gum remover first. Then use a common spaghetti ladle to scrape and neatly remove gum.
TIP #11
When you develop worn, dingy areas on your synthetic field, simply broom or brush area and apply Turf Restore with a simple hand pump sprayer.
